September gives us a feeling of change. Although most of us wish our equine time was our nine-to-five, this isn’t always the case. With the change of seasons, comes the change in our schedules.
What do we recommend in making this transition a smooth one? We recommended changing WITH the season.
Accepting that commitments may pick up outside of the barn in the Fall, suggest perhaps less time spent with our equine friends. This means really enjoying time with your horse when you get the chance.
The summer may have consisted of hard exercise, training, or perhaps showing. Which can now be rewarded with some easy-bonding fall riding. Maybe along with riding, some evening grazing or a regular #EOC supplements.
This change of season is one both you and your horse can look forward to!
